As a lot of the other reviews have stated, this desk is a pain and a half to get together and not for the mechanically inclined. But when the deal was going on I got this desk for 89. This is literally the best most sturdy 89 desk I ever spent the money on. When properly assembled and a little WD-40 in the bearings of the cable drawer, with a little adjustment very exact adjustments to be exact the drawer glides smoothly and does not rock sideways or jostle. This desk is not flimsy, and holds a lot of weight when properly assembled.
